Dancing means so many things! In a literal way, it means moving your body in accordance to a music played. While in a poetic way of defining it, it means flowing with the book of life, turning its page in a swift yet soft manner. Go through life because halfway in its streams, you will somehow like to dance and go crazy in the tune of splashing and rumbling waters.

My Sense of Excitement

I am now excited for the forthcoming fiesta of our beloved place Capul. I am sure it will be another great and big festivity of the town. I am now anticipating the tons of fista-goers which will include different people from different places. From the neighboring towns to the farthest ones, fiesta addicts will surely be present.

The colorful activities during the vesper day will pretty much add to the beauty of the annual occasion. You will see there the pom-poms, the minorettes, the majorettes, and even the drum masters, in their elegant uniforms. How much more the colorful yet indigenous attires of the members of the contingent groups for the street dancing competition which features the Abaknon original Dos Amigos. Whoah, I think I can't wait any longer.

Oops, there we have also the basketball tournament having the Senior and 40-up Categories. Although I am not a basketball fanatic, still, I can feel the intense emotions and expressions of those folks who are always present at the auditorium every game played among the competing teams. Huh? Not that exciting, right? Hahaha!

And who can forget the traditional and yearly visit of our balikbayans. Some of them even came from the States and Europe. And they always make it sure to attend the fiesta every year. It's been their devotion to the patron saint to attend to His festive day. I even know a person who celebrates his birthday on the 31st.

Feelings are random. You may or you may be able to explain it. It is sometimes a dejavu to me or to others. But something destinct that is very hard to define and explain in a simple manner or way of talking.

St. Ignatius of Loyola, you are our guide! This forthcoming festivity is for you. Bless us all your Abaknon childrenn on your day and on the days and years to come.
